The End

We are back in Ushuaia, Magnus is aboard for a few days and we are packing away. No more Bolgs now, but I will be adding photos to the daily reports in about 10 days, so please return and have a look.

Volvemos a Ushuaia, Magnus esta para unos días y estamos arreglando todo. No hago mas mensajes, pero voy a añadir fotos dentro unas semanas. Pues: vuelva para mirar.

Sol y lluvia

Yesterday was mixed. We started with a lovely walk in the sun and finished rowing the dinghy in a downpour. Today we head back to puerto Williams and are nearly at the end of our trip.

Ayer fue una mezcla. Empezamos caminando en el sol y terminamos en el chinchorro por la lluvia. Hoy volvemos a Puerto Williams y casi estamos al fin del viaje.

Wind and sun

Today is very variable with rain squals and strong winds interspersed with calm sunny spells. But it is stil glorious here in the mountains. We managed to cut a small mountain of firewood yesterday so Balaena will be very warm in winter.

Hay cambia mucho el tiempo. Hace chubascos con mucho viento con periodos de sol y calma. Ya esta maravillosa aquí en la Cordillera. Ayer hicimos un montón de leña, entonce Balaena estará muy caliente en invierno.

Stationary

This is a magic place and we are still enjoying it. Especially as today is warm and sunny. We have spledid views of the snowy mountains, forests and glaciers. There is wood on the beach which we are cutting for winter and I am cooking a flan to share with our Chilean/North American neighbours this evening.

Esta un lugar mágico y ya lo estamos disfrutando. Especialmente como hoy hace calor y sol. Hay vistas espléndidas de los bosques, nevadas y ventisqueros. Hay madera por la playa y estamos haciendo leña por invierno. También estoy haciendo un flan para compartir con los vecinos Chilena/norteamericano esta tarde.

Canal Beagle

A beautiful day sailing with the wind back down Canal Beagle. It has snowed in the mountains and above the trees everything is white, the glaciers are deep blue and the trees a vibrant green. Spectacular.

Un día hermosa navegando con viento a popa en el canal Beagle. Hace nieve en las montanas y encima de los árboles todo esto blanco, los ventisqueros son azules profundos y los árboles un verde vibrante. Espectacular.
