Hurrah, we are back in one piece! What a change to see green. Most people would think that this was one of the barrenest places on earth, but after Antarctica the stunted vegetation and windblown grass looks lush compared with hundreds of metres of ice and snow. It was very rough and windy passing Cape Horn but then the wind dropped and we landed up motoring in sunshine. We will take a couple of days in the small islands, Lennox and Picton, before returning to the bustle of civilisation in Puerto Williams. When we reach an internet connection I will add some photos to this Blog.

¡Hurra! Volvemos intacto. Que novedad ver verde. Mucha gente pueden pensar que esta es uno de los lugares mas estéril por el mundo, pero después de Antarctica las arbustos enanos y pasto cortado por el viento parecen exuberante en comparación con cientos de metros hielo y nieve. Por Cabo de Hornos hizo mar bravo y mucho viento pero después cayo el viento y seguíamos por motor bajo el sol. Pasaremos unos días por los islas pequeños, Lennox y Picton, antes de volver a la muchedumbre de civilización en Puerto Williams. Cuando tengo internet voy a poner unas fotos por el Blog.
