The weather is wild but we are in a very sheltered spot so can relax, read, write, play cards and prepare tasty food. We often think about you all who read this and hope that you are enjoying following our progress. We are now almost as far south as we can go, the ice is appreciably denser, so soon we will be heading north again and looking for a suitable patch of safe weather to cross back to Chile.
El tiempo esta borrascoso pero estamos en un lugar muy buen abrigado y podemos relajar, leer, escribir, jugar a las naipes, y hacer comidas ricas. Pensamos frecuentemente de ustedes que lean este y esperamos que disfrutan seguir la navegación. Estamos casi al último sur porque el hielo es mas grueso y difícil para navegar. Pronto vamos al norte y buscamos buen tiempo para volver a Chile
