We spent the day at Deception Island. It is an ugly place with a lot of volcanic cinders and mud that make everything appear very dirty. There are hot springs on the beach, and they are hot, despite this the water did not seem inviting. And we did not fancy changing clothes in the chilly wind. There is a lot of activity here with a Brazilian ship, ourselves and our Dutch friends, a luxury motor yacht and cruise ships that pop in from time to time. Tomorrow, if the weather is fair we plan to sail to the continent.
Pasamos el día en Isla Deception. Es un lugar muy feo con muchos cenizas y barro que hacen todo parecer muy sucio. Hay termas por la playa, pero no obstante que es cálido, el agua no nos invitó para nadar. También no podemos pensar de cambiar ropa en el viento frío. Hay mucha actividad aquí con un buque brasileño, nosotros y los amigos holandeses, una motor yate de lujo y también cruceros que vengan a veces. Mañana esperamos ir al continente si siervo el tiempo.
