Stormy weather

Today it feels as though we are near to Cape Horn. The wind is howling and rain is coming in heavy showers every hour. But we are warm and dry and Balaena is very secure. It is lovely not to be sailing in this weather but a little frightening to think what it could be like in a few days if we are not lucky with the weather. It has been a good opportunity for me to catch up with writing tasks and for Magnus to familiarize himself with Antarctic anchorages. Leif is taking it easy after walking all day yesterday.

Hoy nos sentimos como estamos cerca de Cabo de Hornos. El viento aullar y la lluvia viene en chubascos fuertes cada hora. No obstante estamos cálidos y secos y Balaena esta muy seguro. Esta estupendo no esta navegando con esta tiempo pero me da miedo pensar como puede estar en unos días si no tenemos suerte con el tiempo. Estaba un buen oportunidad para mi alcanza con tareas de escribir y para Magnus familiarizarse con fondeaderos en la Antarctica. Leif descansa después de caminar todo el día ayer.
