G'day from Balaena. We are motoring south between Islas Navarino and Picton, heading south towards Cape Horn. Once there we will be waiting for fine weather before setting off towards the Antarctic Peninsula. Balaena has a crew of three: myself, Magnus my son and Leif Frejdestedt from Sweden. Unfortunately our friend Fabio from Brazil could not come, but he may be sailing south on Paratii 2 from Santos and we hope to meet up with him. At present the weather situation is very changeable, so we don't know when we will depart. I will try and write something every day. Cuando llegamos a cao de Hornos vamos a esperar buen tiempo antes de zarpar para Antarctica. somos tres tripulantes: Yo, mi hijo Magnus y amigo Leif Frejdestedt de Suecia.
