Stormy weather

One of the good things in this trip are the weather forecasts that we receive twice a day from a worldwide digital system we call "grib". They are incredibly accurate and with them we can decide whether to sail or stay in harbour. today we stayed at anchor because, despite looking promising this morning, we were expecting a gale. It arrived at the predicted time and we are glad to be in a safe spot. With luck we can sail on to Deception Island tomorrow. however the day has been productive and we have got on with jobs such as repairing a sail and sail cove.

Unas de las cosas buenas para nosotros son las pronósticos meteorológicos que recibimos dos veces al día desde una sistema digital mundial, "grib". Son increíbles exacto y con ellos podemos decidir si vamos a navegar o quedarnos en puerto. hoy quedamos porque, a pesar de pareció buen por la mañana, esperabamos un temporal. Llegó a la hora de predicción y ahora agradeceremos que estamos fondeado en un buen lugar. Ojalá mañana podemos proseguir el viaje hasta Isla Deception. No obstante pasamos un día productiva con las tareas del barco como renovar una vela y una capa de vela.
