Ice and whales

Tonight we have moved to another bay, on the other side of Greenwich Island, Yankee harbour. There is a huge glacier sharing the bay with us, so there are lots of small bits of ice around the boat. It has been cold and grey all day so we have kept the pot belly burning and are warm and dry. It was an easy sail around the island with little wind, only a couple of whales to see along the way. Now Magnus (who spent the afternoon looking after the sails) is cooking roast beef for dinner.

Esta noche estamos colocado en otra bahía, Yankee harbour, por otro lado de isla Greenwich. Hay un ventisquero enorme que compartir la bahía con nosotros, entonces hay bastante témpanos alrededor del barco. Todo el día estaba frío y gris y manteníamos la salamandra incendio y adentro hace calor y es seco. La navegación por vela fue fácil con poco viento y unas ballenas para ver. Ahora Magnus (que pasó la tarde cuidando las velas) es cocinado carne asado para la cena.
